WHAT'S THE BEST PIECE OF ADVICE FOR FINDING YOUR PERFECT DRESS?

Maintain an open mind, as it is vital for your stylist to thrive on the excitement and positivity of both you and your attendees. Engage in dialogue and share your thoughts during the fitting sessions, as this interaction equips your stylist with the essential information to select the most ideal gown tailored to your preferences. Surround yourself with the people whose opinions hold the greatest significance to you, such as your nearest and dearest friends or relatives.

Remember that there's no rule against discovering your dream dress at the first store you visit, and it's not unusual for brides to find "the one" on their initial try. If a particular dress instills a sense of beauty and self-assurance, it could very well be the perfect choice. Trust your instincts and don't be afraid to end the search early if you feel certain about a gown, as the quest can often end with the first spark of love at first sight.

ARE APPOINTMENTS REQUIRED? 

Indeed, appointments are mandatory for our bridal consultations, with the exception of special sale events. Upon scheduling an appointment, you will receive comprehensive information and reminders to ensure everything is set. We've found that many of our bridal parties favor the exclusivity of their reserved 90-minute sessions, which is why we do not accommodate walk-ins. This private setup allows for an uninterrupted experience where the boutique is exclusively yours, away from the gaze of other clients. A dedicated stylist will be at your service throughout, personally assisting you with each dress, including fastening, fitting adjustments, and accessorizing.

WHO SHOULD I BRING? 

It's undeniably enjoyable to invite your entire entourage of family, friends, and bridesmaids to join the dress shopping extravaganza, but beware that an excess of opinions can leave a bride feeling perplexed. Coordinate a time to visit the boutique only when your most significant individuals will be present. Often, brides discover their dream gown during unanticipated moments. Reproducing the initial magic of slipping into your perfect dress can be challenging once you've tried it without your VIPS present.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO MY APPOINTMENT? 

An open-mind, and for the sake of comfort and hygiene, we suggest choosing undergarments that match your skin tone. Please avoid wearing thongs, to maintain hygiene of our gowns and for both our comfort as a Stylist will be assisting you into each gown. To facilitate a more efficient process, it's a good idea to peruse our online gallery organized by size and capture any images that appeal to you. While it's perfectly fine to begin your search without specific preferences, contacting us with detailed photos and descriptions beforehand can help ensure that we are prepared to meet your particular needs, thereby making the most of your time during the appointment.

ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED AT MY APPOINTMENT? 

Yes. We understand you or a VIP guest may need to bring a child/children at times. We even offer a changing table in the restroom. 

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK MY APPOINTMENT? 

Saturdays and Sundays are in high demand for appointments, filling up rapidly. To secure a weekend slot, it's advisable to contact us a month or more in advance. If weeknights are more suitable, our latest availability is at 5:15 p.m., which also tends to get reserved 2 weeks in advance. Although less common, we may be able to arrange a same-day appointment on weekdays. Additionally, we maintain a waitlist for those interested in weekend appointments. Plan ahead for the best chance to get your preferred time!

IS THERE AN APPOINTMENT FEE? 

We offer private appointments only where a bride and her guests have exclusive access to the entire store and the dedicated assistance of a stylist for 90 minutes. This service is available for a non-refundable, one time reschedule (with a 14 day notice) booking fee of $50 for appointments scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays. If the bride decides to purchase a dress on the day of the appointment, the fee will be applied as a credit toward the cost of the dress. There is no booking fee for appointments from Monday to Friday. We respectfully ask that you notify us at least 48 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your weekday appointment.

 

Please note that this fee is not for the purpose of trying on dresses, but rather for the luxury of having a private and uninterrupted shopping experience with dedicated assistance. The fee is only applied to weekend appointments due to the higher demand and limited availability of time slots. WHEN SHOULD I SHOP AND ORDER MY DRESS?

We suggest commencing your wedding shopping 9-12 months prior to the actual wedding date. Typically, gowns require 3 to 6 months from the order date for delivery. Following that, alterations can take approximately another 3 months. Nevertheless, for brides with under 9 months until the wedding, there is an option to buy from the nearly 500 in-stock dresses, which can be picked up and taken home immediately.

CAN I SHOP EARLIER THAN THAT? 

It's advisable to begin shopping for a dress when you're prepared to make a purchase. There's a high probability that you'll find a gown you adore during your appointment, and since dresses frequently get discontinued or sold off the rack, it may not be available if you delay. Therefore, it's generally more effective to make a decision and buy it right away rather than risking disappointment by waiting several months.

 

WHAT IS THE PRICE POINT OF YOUR WEDDING DRESSES?

Explore our collection of around 500 reasonably priced wedding dresses, each one available for under $1000. Our stock fluctuates monthly, typically ranging from 400 to 500 gowns, ensuring a diverse selection for every bride. At our store, we believe that exceptional service should be a standard, not a luxury, which is why we offer a non-judgmental shopping experience for all budgets. Every bride deserves the opportunity to look and feel stunning on their special day. Furthermore, the cost of alterations can add $300 to $500, significantly increasing the price tag of the wedding dress and contributing to the overall wedding expenses.

WHAT SIZES ARE AVAILABLE FOR TRYING ON DURING MY APPOINTMENT? 

We currently have the largest selection of plus size dresses in Northern Wisconsin with 300 samples in size 16+ for our brides to try on. Dresses in store range from size 2-30. The website shows most dress options by size, but not all.

 

DO YOU BUY OR CONSIGN WORN OR UNWORN WEDDING DRESSES? 

No, sorry. We only buy direct from reputable wedding dress designers/manufacturers/stores. Our dresses have NOT been previously owned or worn by any other bride.

CAN I BUY OFF RACK? 

All dresses displayed on the sales floor are readily available for immediate purchase. Discover your perfect dress directly from the rack and enjoy same-day take-home convenience! While many options can be ordered in alternative sizes and colors, please note that these may have a delivery timeframe of up to six months. Additionally, prices are subject to fluctuation without notice and special or custom orders might incur extra costs. Keep in mind that stock availability can change rapidly.

DO YOU HAVE A SEAMSTRESS ON SITE? 

We do not have an in-house seamstress because we do not want to require our brides to come to our location for alterations. We have brides who travel from all over the state to shop with us, so we want you to be able to work with whoever you want. We do, however, have a list of seamstresses in our area who have been partnering with us.

DO YOU CARRY MOTHERS/BRIDESMAIDS/MINI BRIDE/HIGH SCHOOL DANCE DRESSES? 

Sorry, no. We have been bride only since late 2017. What I noticed with shoppes that carry mothers and bridesmaids dresses is that the guests can lose focus on the bride due to shopping for themselves.

 

CAN I BRING REFRESHMENTS? 

As a responsible business, we are committed to ensuring the safety and comfort of all our visitors, as well as compliance with the law.

 

Please be aware that our premises do not hold a liquor license, which means that the consumption of alcoholic beverages is strictly prohibited. This policy is in place due to the legal ramifications that can arise from allowing alcohol consumption on a non-licensed commercial property. These include potential liability issues, increased insurance costs, and the risk of fines or penalties.

 

We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation in observing this policy. It is crucial that we maintain a professional and safe environment for all who visit us. If you have any guests or clients planning to attend an event or visit our property, please communicate this information to them so that everyone is aware of our guidelines.

HOW DID YOU COME UP WITH THE IDEA TO OPEN A BRIDAL SHOPPE?

Having invested a substantial amount in my own wedding gown, I came to the realization that despite my deep affection for it, the exorbitant price was utterly absurd. Your wedding day will undeniably hold a special place in your heart, but it's essential that the hefty expense and potential buyer's remorse of the costly dress (which will likely end up stored in a box shortly post-ceremony) shouldn't overshadow your happiness. Instead, allocate those funds towards creating unforgettable experiences on your honeymoon!
